Our campaign seeks to reduce road toll, hospitalisations and traumatic brain injury caused by traffic crashes. Reducing road crashes, reduces the cost on community services, hospitals and health facilities, families and the wider community.
Make it Home Safely Inc. run high school education programs, community events and competitions to:
- Raise the awareness of the long term impact of traumatic head injury
- Influence driver and passenger attitude and behaviour
- Empowers young people to make choices, plans, messages and commitments to ensure they and their friends make it home safely every time.
The project was developed through $15,000 grant funding to implement the project with 1,000 students. More is needed to extend our influence with young drivers on our Queensland roads.
